Operating Season: Year ‘Round (Limited Operation in the Fall & Winter)
Although, Dutch Wonderland is geared toward kids 12 and under, there are plenty of things for the older “kids” in your family reunion group to do. Dutch Wonderland has over 30 rides and attractions — including water rides, live shows and two roller coasters. Our family had a great time there as it provides just enough entertainment to keep the little ones super busy and keep the teens from getting bored. And, what’s great is that they have a “rain guarantee”. If it rains for more than one consecutive hour during your visit to Dutch Wonderland and you decide to leave the Park for the remainder of the day, you will be issued a single-day admission ticket valid for any day during the remainder of the season. So, don’t let the rain mess up your family reunion plans.
If your family enjoys camping, they have their own campground that offers family cabins, tipis, and tent sites. Each cabin sleeps up to 4 family members (the Deluxe sleeps up to 8) and includes a mini fridge, stove, A/C, microwave, a full bathroom and much more.
There are plenty of places to eat while in the park. Merlin’s Restaurant even includes gluten-free and healthy eating options for those with dietary restrictions. If you have a group of 20 or more, consider having your meal catered. A catered event will get you a deeper discount on the price of admission (up to $10 per person!).
A limited number of wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles are available for a rental fee on a first-come-first-serve basis (no reservations are available).
